New Jewish Love Songs

Jewish text and folk-pop melody -- both fresh and philosophical!
Jewish is complicated, and so is love, so why not Jewish love songs? Between Torah, the Prophets, the Mishnah, and the siddur, I've had a wonderfully sticky time writing these new Jewish love songs -- new, because I made them up, and Jewish, because they're all inspired by something

Jewish is complicated, and so is love, so why not Jewish love songs? Between Torah, the Prophets, the Mishnah, and the siddur, I've had a wonderfully sticky time writing these new Jewish love songs -- new, because I made them up, and Jewish, because they're all inspired by something much older. Multiple looks at the idea of brit -- covenant -- interspersed with retellings of beloved stories and new versions of familiar prayers, "New Jewish Love Songs" is peaceful, anxious, elated, furious, committed, confused, and always in love.
CRUCIAL: The liner notes (lyrics, song descriptions, gratitude, etc) for the album can be found at http://www.hannahspiro.com/new_jewish_love_songs/
